Here's the latest on The Cult and what is in store for 2007:

The Cult - Live in NYC DVD: Is currently being edited and completed. The street date is scheduled for Aprill.

NEW music:The band heads into the studio this month for preproduction and then recording! A fall release is expected.

TOURING: THE CULT will make its first live appearance of 2007 on February 24 at California Speedway in Fontana, California. The concert, which begins at 8:00 p.m., is a part of NASCAR's highly successful Rock 'n Racing series. Tickets include admission to the racetrack to view the race and THE CULT's post-race performance. THE CULT's current touring lineup includes principals Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitar) alongside bassist Chris Wyse, drummer John Tempesta (ex-WHITE ZOMBIE, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, HELMET) and rhythm guitarist Mike Dimkich. New THE CULT European tour dates are being booked for June, with many more shows to follow in the fall and winter.
